About Me

INTRODUCTION

My experience & training in cancer care

An accomplished physician with over 13 years of experience in Clinical Oncology, I possess distinguished academic credentials, including FRCR(UK), ESMO certification, MD, and DNB in oncology, and am currently working as a Senior Consultant at Mahatma Gandhi Medical College & Hospital, Jaipur. I have previously worked and trained in the NHS, UK in some of the world’s leading cancer centers and been trained in the latest cancer therapies and radiotherapy techniques. As a former Consultant and Head at Manipal Hospitals and Apex Hospitals, Jaipur from 2015 to 2021, I bring a unique blend of clinical and administrative experience. I have received training from esteemed institutions such as SMS Jaipur and Safdarjung Hospital Delhi, complemented by three years of dedicated research and teaching experience at AIIMS Delhi.

I am Rajasthan’s first Clinical Oncologist and the only one to be formally trained in Stereotactic Radiosurgery techniques. I bring a wealth of experience in diverse clinical settings and with innovative radiation therapy technologies including SRS/SBRT, IGRT, VMAT, brachytherapy etc. I’ve gained hands-on experience with MR Linac, Cyberknife, Gamma knife, Varian, Elekta, Xstrahl utilizing Exactrac/Vision RT for guidance and motion management and implementing adaptive radiotherapy techniques and PET-based planning.

My vision is to establish a world-class Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) center in India. I am dually trained in delivering both systemic therapies and radiotherapy and only practice evidence-based treatment according to International Guidelines.

In my current role as Clinical Lead & Incharge of the CyberKnife Radiosurgery Unit at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital, I hope to develop a world-class radiotherapy program for radiosurgery for the people of my state, ensuring they have access to cutting-edge treatments that enhance patient outcomes and improve their quality of life.

Feel free to connect with me if you have any questions.
